This policy explains what personal information Cum With Us ("we", "us") collects when you use cumwithus.co.uk, why we collect it, and your rights. We are the data controller for this information. If you have any questions, email info@cumwithus.co.uk.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, so we can send you new stories and updates.

  • Story requests and messages: your email address and anything you write in the form, so we can read and reply to your request.

  • Emails you send us: your email address and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are from. This uses cookies and collects information such as your device, browser and approximate location. It does not tell us who you are.

  • Advertising: we use Google Ads to measure how well our adverts work. This uses cookies to record whether a visit came from one of our ads.

  • Audio player: our story player is provided by Spreaker, which may set its own cookies when you play an episode.

  • Website hosting: our site is hosted by Squarespace, which collects basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use your information (lawful basis)

  • To send you our newsletter: based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

  • To reply to requests and messages: based on our legitimate interest in responding to you.

  • Analytics and advertising cookies: based on your consent, which you can give or withdraw through our cookie banner.

  • Keeping the site secure and working: based on our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We only share it with the services that help us run the site:

  • Squarespace: website hosting, forms and email

  • Google: Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager

  • Spreaker: audio player and podcast hosting

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.

Memberships are handled entirely by Patreon. When you join through Patreon, their privacy policy applies, and we only receive the information Patreon shares with creators.

How long we keep it

  • Newsletter email addresses: until you unsubscribe.

  • Story requests and messages: up to 24 months, then deleted.

  • Analytics data: kept for 14 months, then deleted automatically.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies: needed for the site to work. These are always on.

  • Analytics and advertising cookies: only with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Preferences button at the bottom of the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
